The Land of the Mermaids is a magical place found at the bottom of the ocean. There are sandcastles, trees made of coral, and mermaids that play all day riding on seahorses. Let’s find out what happens when a new mermaid comes out of her shell and looks very different than all the other mermaids. Will she be accepted? Children will learn about diversity and celebrate that differences make us all unique and special. Kids will learn about seahorses and what makes this animal so incredible. Did you know that the male seahorse is the only animal species on Earth that carries and delivers the babies? In the song “Male Seahorses Do Amazing Things,” young learners will learn fun facts about seahorses. Songs and stories will engage kids as they learn important life skills about diversity that shares a positive focus that everyone is unique and should be accepted and celebrated.

The Yeti/Abominable Snowman
The Yeti, or abominable snowmen, are ape-like creatures who are said to roam the mountains of the Himalayas. Many people claim to have seen them but, like Big Foot, no solid proof has been found - until now? Athena and Tiernan will present the best evidence for you, our Chief Detectives, then it's up to you decide - is there really a snowy mountain monster? Or is just a lot of funny footprints?
