Marine Biology - Part 2

This fully online, self-paced course for students in grades 9–12 introduces the fascinating study of marine biology and the ecosystems of the world’s oceans. Students explore the diversity of marine life, ocean habitats, and the complex relationships between organisms and their environments. (Semester 2 of 2)

Throughout the course, students investigate topics such as ocean zones, marine organisms, food webs, and the role oceans play in the global ecosystem. Students also examine human impacts on marine environments and learn about conservation efforts aimed at protecting ocean life. By the end of the course, students will have developed a foundational understanding of marine ecosystems and the scientific principles used to study life in the oceans.
