Description:
KEVA Architectural Design Woods is a hands on STEM learning set designed to introduce students to architecture, engineering, structural design, spatial reasoning, and creative problem solving. Using precision cut beech wood planks, students can explore how balance, gravity, proportion, symmetry, stability, and structural relationships affect the buildings and models they create.

The planks stack without glue or connectors, encouraging students to experiment with towers, bridges, cantilevers, sculptures, and original architectural structures. As students plan, construct, test, and revise their designs, they develop engineering thinking while strengthening visual spatial skills, fine motor coordination, concentration, and perseverance.

The included idea booklet provides building inspiration while also encouraging open ended design and independent exploration.
