Junior Economics

This class introduces students to basic business principles, including the free enterprise system, banking procedures, and ethical business practices, while exploring career options and making sound business decisions. Students will gain practical skills and insights into how personal interests and education relate to career choices, all while enjoying the engaging and rewarding content of the course.

Students will be introduced to:

• The exciting and challenging free enterprise system
• How to maintain a bank account
• The importance of ethical business practices
• Understanding individual and team goals and practicing making sound business decisions

Throughout the program, students also begin to recognize that both career and job choices are related to personal interest, skills, knowledge, and education.  Students LOVE this class, and they take pride in learning ‘grown-up’ skills.
